- Subject: Re: Winsock.dll
-
- I have a Windows application (XFTERM) which uses Novell's
- LAN Workplace for DOS (V4.1) to provide it with socket services.
- The XFTERM package looks for WLIBSOCK.DLL.
-
- For reasons that aren't obvious to me, I'm having problems
- getting up the Novell software, but I have NetManage Chameleon NFS
- TCP/IP for Windows, and that works just fine.
-
- Does anyone know what WLIBSOCK.DLL is, and whether I can coax
- a Windows program to use WINSOCK.DLL instead. I do have
- the Microsoft Windows SDK toolkit, and I noticed it has some
- tool for renaming DLL's, but I never used it and I'm not really
- familar with these things.
-
- thanks,

- Subject: WinQVT 3.9
-
- I can't initiate the FTP server in WinQVT 3.9 (or any other version).
- Everything else in the program works fine. I'm using Winsock 1.0A.
- I can call from home on a CSlip (TCPMAN) connection and the server works.
-
- The error message reads:
-
- comm_listen:setsockopt[REUSEADDR]error 10022
-
- All other Winsock applications (Hgopher, Trumpet, etc.) work as they should.
-
- What is the error telling me?
-
- Thanks.
